Limitless
Short-duration markets made daily trading the product. Social trading and ambassadors let people follow traders, not only markets.
Longer markets only spiked at resolution. We needed a daily habit. As Head of Design at Limitless, I focused the product on short-duration markets, then on social trading and ambassadors so people follow traders and challenge them, not only markets.
Short-duration markets
Problem. Long-dated markets were thin. People needed something to do every day.
Shipped. Home, categories, and hourly market detail on web and mobile, with Crypto Hourly on 2 July 2025 and Crypto Daily on 15 July 2025.
Proof. Within two months of Crypto Hourly, short-duration markets went from 0% to about 90% of volume. Weekly active traders went from about 70 to about 16,250, about 230×. Platform volume grew about 14× from June 2025 to the May 2026 peak.
Role. Paired with the CPO on research that locked short-duration, designed home, categories, and hourly detail, and shipped the UX in PRs.
Also: Packs — Daily habit packs; growth of short-duration.
Social trading and ambassadors
Problem. An empty order book does not keep people. They stay where skill is visible and they can follow traders.
Shipped. Profile, alerts, and a feed to follow or subscribe. Leaderboard for Profit/Loss, Referral, KIX Rank, Volume, and Points, with period filters. PvP challenges call a match event at 50/50, send it to a friend or leave it public, with no house. Ambassadors earn when others trade from their posts.
Proof. Leaderboard rows open the public profile, so skill stays visible.
Role. Designed profile, leaderboard, and PvP so people follow visible skill and challenge each other, and the ambassador surfaces that paid $235k+ to creators.
